Dr. Kraeber is a proud Nevada native. Born and raised in Reno/Sparks, she graduated from Reed High, UNR, and UNR Medical School, and then completed her pediatrics residency in Oakland, CA. After residency, she was chosen to be the Chief Resident and had the opportunity to teach and to work in various settings including the NICU, newborn nursery, pediatric clinic, and on the pediatric ward, all in a busy referral center that cared for a diverse patient population – diverse in culture, ethnicity, socioeconomic and health problems. She has since continued her work in Oakland working as a pediatric hospitalist, and has added time as a neonatal hospitalist. Dr. Kraeber is board certified in Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is so excited to move her full-time care to her home community. Her medical interests include preventive care, nutrition, asthma management, sports medicine, teen care, and teaching. When not doctoring, she spends most of her time with her partner in life and their crazy pup, and she enjoys her time at the gym, reading, playing board games, traveling, attending live music events, and camping. Be sure to tell her about whatever book you’re reading at your next visit!
