Expecting a baby?
Congratulations! Pack Pediatrics provides care from birth through high school graduation, and we can’t wait to meet you and your little one.
What to do before delivery
Choose a doctor for your baby – Our doctors are board-certified pediatricians and members of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Schedule a Prenatal Visit. – It is required to have a prenatal visit with one of our doctors before your baby arrives. Please take a moment to peruse our website and Practice Policies to learn more about us, and then call to schedule your prenatal appointment. It is recommended to aim for your prenatal visit before your baby turns 36 weeks gestation.
When your baby arrives
YAY! Happy news! Time to call and make your little one’s first Pack Pediatrics appointment. We recommend calling the day before expecting to go home from the hospital. That first visit will be 1-2 days after hospital discharge, to review your hospital stay, check your baby’s weight, and complete a full newborn physical exam. It is a good idea to bring any hospital paperwork with you (such as a discharge summary and a hearing screen) in case the office has not yet received the information from the hospital.
Interested in Transferring Care to Pack Pediatrics?
We’re glad you found us! We are accepting transferring patients of all ages. Please review our Practice Policies, choose a doctor for your child, and call to ensure we accept your insurance and to place your child on the Transferring Patient waitlist. You will need to fill out the Record Request Form and send it to your child’s previous provider. If your child has received immunizations outside of the state of Nevada, those will also need to be sent to or brought into the office prior to your visit. Please note that we at Pack Pediatrics feel strongly that vaccines protect children from many severe and preventable illnesses. To learn about our vaccine policy, please see our Vaccine Policy.

Well Visit Schedule
Sick visits
We reserve space for same or next day appointments in an attempt to be available when you need us. If your child is sick and you are concerned, call our office during normal business hours to schedule an appointment.
If your child is ill after hours, and you need urgent advice, call our after hours call line available through our office phone and inform the answering service you need to speak to the on call doctor. If your child is experiencing an emergency, please call 911.
Immunization Appointments
Our office allows vaccine-only visits with our clinical team. We also offer flu and COVID shot clinic every fall, typically late September through December. If your child is not due for a well visit but you would like to update immunizations, please call for an immunization appointment.

Telehealth Appointments
On occasion, your child’s provider may feel that a telephone visit is an appropriate follow up. These can be offered instead of an in office visit for things such as medication management, complex lab result reviewing, and follow up for acute sick visits.
Sports Physicals
Most sports physical forms are good for an entire year. If you remember, bring your sport form request to your child’s annual well visit and we can fill it out for a small fee of $20. If your child needs a sports physical but is not due for a well visit, you may book one with our providers for a flat fee of $75, which includes required vital signs check, growth check, physical exam, and completed form.

Our Practice
Pack Pediatrics is proud to serve the Northern Nevada community. While we are a young practice, founded in 2024, we stand on the shoulders of the amazing Dr. Robin White. Dr. White served the Reno community for 40+ years prior to her retirement, and continues to be a mentor and guide to, and an integral part of, our team.
